LEADERS IN TRAINING PROGRAM

Learn to Lead - CC Style!

The craftyCOUTURE Leaders in Training Program is a brand new program that acts as a bridge between being a CC Camper to becoming a CC Staff Member. Our “Leading Designers” will join our Young and Teen Designers in the Summer Camp experience as campers, but will also take part in specialized LIT programming.

The skills and knowledge they will gain will not only be useful to them as leaders in the camp setting but will be valuable + functional skills that they can use at school, work or within their social groups. These skills will be meaningful and relevant to our Leading Designers’ interests and age levels. Leading Designers will be presented with a Certificate in Leadership Training at the end of the program.

The craftyCOUTURE Leaders In Training Program is offered to teens going into Grades 10 and 11.

A Day in the Life of a CC Leading Designer Includes...

· Hands-on participation in Jewelry & Accessory Design, Re-Worked Clothing projects or Fashion Illustration.

· Taking a leading role in the production of the Fashion Show.

· Walking in the footsteps of a CC Counselor as they assist a younger group and put their leadership skills to task.

· Taking part in workshops geared to expand leadership skills including communications skills, team work, behavior management, developmental stages, lesson + activity planning, co-operative games, project development + more!

· Taking an active role in the camps daily routine and contributing to the positive and fun atmosphere in small and big ways!
